In the Athletic Training program, students learn to manage overall health care of scholastic, professional and recreational athletes. At 波胆平台, you'll learn in fully equipped facilities from faculty with real experience in the athletic training field. Students have opportunities to gain practical experience through avenues like research activity and clinical experiences.
The Master of Athletic Training program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney offers two separate avenues for entry through one graduate professional program. Students will have the opportunity to either complete a 3-year undergraduate plus a 2-year professional (3+2) program pathway or complete a traditional post-baccalaureate 2-year professional program pathway.
Students applying for the traditional two-year post baccalaureate pathway will be required to obtain pre-requisites for application to the program. Upon acceptance into the traditional two-year model, students will be afforded the opportunity to complete the professional program over the following two calendar years.
Students who are enrolled into the Master of Athletic Training will complete 2 years of academic and clinical education at 波胆平台. Academic course work includes courses such as orthopedic evaluation and assessment, pathology and treatment of medical conditions, therapeutic interventions, and professional development. Upon completion of the academic curriculum and clinical experience, the student is eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) Examination.
The Master of Athletic Training Program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
